SHADES™ Blue Blocker

SHADES™ Blue Blocker dye has been especially designed to filter out light waves between 400 and 500nm (blue light).

This will aid in reducing glare and associated discomfort and it is thought to minimize retinal disruption.

Blue Blocker products are used in the same way as other lens dyes and the optimum level of protection for each product will be obtained at transmission levels of around 20% although this should be checked on a spectrophotometer to ensure the required protection is obtained.
