1 Step Fining Polycarbonate

One step fining offers the most economic way of surfacing, not only in material cost but in time. One step pads are by their nature are a compromise between first and second fine pads. They must be aggresive enough to remove generator marks and elliptical error problems yet still produce a fine surface to be polished in a reasonable time.

2 Step Fining Polycarbonate

The new Cerium black one step pad is an evolutionary pad for the one step fining of polycarbonate materials. The unique design of the abrasive ensures a high, consistent stock removal rate throughout the curve range and in all conditions while maintaining an excellent surface quality. The fined surface is easily polished in a normal cycle. Available with the special Cerium compensated backing, which is the equivalent thickness of a 1st and 2nd fine combined and has the added properties of easy and clean removal from the tool.
