Two step fining was the initial fixed abrasive system
for the CR39 plastic lenses, and remains today as the system which will
ensure the very best quality surfaces are obtained during processing. This
system is often used where the lenses are to be multi or anti reflection
coated, to minimise surface defects prior to coating. The coating process
